Badminton Danmark
A badminton festival for the stars – and everybody else
- 9/19/2018 11:19:13 AM

Badminton is for everyone and that is a principle, which is indeed adhered to at DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR where both youths, seniors, professionals and handicapped get to become part of the event as well as take part in it – both on the court and next to the court.

“Badminton is for everyone - throughout life.”

Badminton Denmark’s slogan is not just something we say. We exercise it in the real world, which is greatly reflected in DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by DANISA.

During the main tournament in Odense it is not exclusively the international badminton stars that get to show their skills on court.
Throughout the week the entire badminton playing segment of Denmark is gathered in Hans Christian Andersen’s hometown to take part as well as become a part of the historic event.

In parallel with the main tournament no less than four side tournaments will take place in and around Odense.

As in recent years, these include the tournaments for youth players and senior+-players, VICTOR DENMARK JUNIOR presented by DANISA and VICTOR DENMARK SENIOR presented by DANISA, respectively.

This year, as something brand new, Badminton Denmark will also be launching two additional tournaments, in order to provide the chance for even more to feel like a part of the magic.

Hence, at this year’s tournament week, it will also be possible to experience the highest level of Special Olympics and para badminton at VICTOR DENMARK SPECIAL OLYMPICS presented by DANISA and VICTOR DENMARK PARA presented by DANISA, respectively.

Thus, close to every single badminton player in the country gets the chance to spend the autumn holiday by firstly, playing badminton on their own, and secondly, go to Odense Sports Park and watch the stars of the sport.
In Badminton Denmark we mean it for real when we say that badminton is the sport for everyone – the entire life, and as Bo Jensen, Chief Executive of Badminton Denmark, emphasizes when it comes to DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR: ”it will indeed and truly be a genuine badminton festival!”.
